To say I am excited right now is an understatement!

On Wednesday this week I was invited to be part of a Bible Project event in London where they explained their seven pillars of understanding the Bible and trialled a community scripture reading approach. I also got to meet Tim and Jon as well as the team that were part of the trip. A couple of months ago I did a bespoke order of Chronicles of the Kingdom for a single prototype deck and sent it to them with the help of Stacey from their patron care team. It has been sitting in their office for a number of weeks and may or may not have been spotted by some of the team. They have said they will keep an eye out for it when they get back. Needless to say I had an incredible time meeting them and taking part in something that I have supported and been inspired by for the last decade. There is a good chance this project would not exist without the incredible resources and way they have communicated the story of the bible over the years!

(The custom prototype in the Bible Project office. Hopefully they'll have a play when they get back from the UK!)

As a thank you to Stacey for her help I sent her a print and play copy which she took on holiday and played with her grandsons. She sent some awesome feedback: "We played it multiple times! It is so fun and enlightening! I need to level up my Bible timeline knowledge. HAHA.  Our nine-year-old especially loved it, and the younger boys (ages 7 and 5) were entranced by the illustrations. Great job!

The 9 year old loved it so much, he asked if they could keep the game at their house. That's a good sign right there!"

On top of what was already a week to remember, I got a notification that the production samples from the printers had been delivered while I was in London, so upon my return I eagerly opened the package and was not disappointed with what I found inside:

Needless to say I am very excited about how well the game has turned out and what an incredible job the printers have done!

If you haven't followed the Kickstarter yet, head over and hit notify to make sure you don't miss out on the kickstarter exclusive cards, or the freebies for being one of the first backers!

Things are getting really exciting!
